Braces and aligners for adults in Lakeland

Age alone does not rule out orthodontic treatment. What matters is the health of your gums and the bone around your teeth.

Why adults come in

Some adults have wanted straighter teeth for years. Others had braces as teens, stopped wearing a retainer, and saw their teeth shift. Some are sent by a dentist before a crown or implant.

Working with your dentist

If your plan includes crowns, implants or gum treatment, we coordinate the order of care with your dentist. You keep your regular cleanings throughout.

Fitting it into work

Clear aligners and ceramic braces are both less visible than metal braces. Early morning and Saturday visits help if you cannot leave work often.

Questions about orthodontics for adults

Am I too old for braces?

Probably not. We look at your gums, bone and bite at the consultation and tell you what is realistic.

Will I need a retainer?

Yes. Teeth tend to drift after treatment at any age, so every patient wears a retainer afterward.
