Moving to Lakeland in braces or aligners

Families move in the middle of treatment. We review where your case stands and continue it here.

Before you move

Ask your current orthodontist for your records: X-rays, photos, the treatment plan and what has been paid. Ask for a final check before you leave.

Your first visit here

A closed plain tan folder and a white plaster model of teeth on a wooden desk by a window

Dr. Breckett examines your teeth and reviews the records. Then we tell you what is left to do, how long it may take, and the fee for the rest.

Aligner patients

Aligners are planned by one office. We may need a new scan and new trays to finish your case.

Questions about moving to lakeland in braces

Will I pay twice?

You pay for the treatment left, not the whole case. We give you the fee in writing after the first visit.

Can you keep my current brackets?

Often, yes. Many brackets and wires can be adjusted by another orthodontist. The exam tells us.
